Arminia Bielefeld strengthens the offensive with Aygün Yildirim. The 28-year-old comes on a free transfer from co-relegated SSV Jahn Regensburg, for whom he only scored one goal in 41 appearances in two seasons. Before moving to Jahn, the right winger had 14 goals and five assists at SC Verl in the 3rd division.
“Aygün can be used on the flanks as well as in the center. That makes him very flexible for our offense. We see his strengths in one-on-ones, creating chances and finishing himself. We are sure that with his dynamism he will be an important component in our game,” coach Michél Kniat and sports director Michael Mutzel agree.
