Alemannia Aachen missed an away win in Hanover in the third division descent fight-and was annoyed by a referee decision.
In the 1-1 (0: 0) against the second representation of Hannover 96, Charlison Benschop took the lead for the Aachener (51st minute). Eric Uhlmann equalized in the final phase from the penalty point (76.). This was preceded by a duel in the Aachen penalty area, which did not necessarily justify a foul.
Sleepy first half – until the dismissal
“When we go there with this force, we’ll get the three points there,” said Aachen’s captain Mika Hanraths before the game at the Lower Saxony – and meant the force with which Aachen had played Arminia Bielefeld with the unfortunate 0-1 defeat last weekend.
The guests in Hanover initially could not be seen. A tough game developed, which controlled the Aacheners without gaining good chances. Real excitement only came into the game through the yellow-red card against Husseyn Chakroun, who was rightly referred to the field after his rough foul against Hanraths (39.).
Aachen better, Hanover hits the point
Aachen did the majority, the TSV was really dangerous in the second round: Joker Anton Heinz pulled off with his strong left, but narrowly missed the goal. Shortly thereafter, Benschop, Heintz came to the break, who scored from a short distance to the Aachen leadership. The active Benschop could have increased shortly afterwards, but failed due to 96 goalkeeper Leo Weinkauf (67th).
But the away win was nothing. Jan-Luca Rumpf went to Mustafa Abdullatif body-emphasized and a little careless to work, thus brought his opponent to the ground. Referee Michael Näther gave a penalty – at least a discussable decision, because Rumpf stood more in the way than to change Abdullatif. But the Aachen protests were in vain: the decision was made, Uhlmann with the help of the lower latte to 1-1.
The balance was not deserved because Aachen had more of the game. Even after the setback, the Aachener, Sasa Strujic, gave the great chance of the renewed lead goal (79th). However, the last consequence was missing in the offensive game of the TSV.
