24-year-old man robbed of van and designer bag at gunpoint

On Saturday, a 24-year-old man was robbed of his van at gunpoint on the Delta side in Blaricum. In addition to the van and the goods stored in it, a designer bag is also stolen from him.

According to the police, the victim drives on the A27 near Huizen around 5 p.m. and takes the exit there. He is on his way to his company, but knows that it is too busy at that moment to unload his goods. He parks at a business park on the Delta side in Blaricum, to wait there until a quieter moment.

When he stops, a gray Volkswagen parks next to his bus. The driver of the car asks the victim if he can help unload some goods. Their company is just down the road, they tell him. So the victim decides to drive behind the gray Volkswagen to help the two.

Firearm on the head

But once they are in another parking lot on the Delta side, things go completely wrong. The driver of the Volkswagen gets out wearing a balaclava. He immediately pointed a firearm at the head of the 24-year-old victim.

The man hands over his bus keys and a designer bag from the Goyard brand. The co-driver has now gotten out and drives away with the stolen van and all the products in it. The police spokesperson does not want to say what the stolen van looked like and what products were in it.

Signaling

Police have released a description of the driver. This is a man of about 20 years old with a dark complexion. He is said to be around 1.80 meters tall with a slim build, without facial hair. He was dressed in black with dark-colored shoes from the Dior brand.

The victim was unable to provide a description of the passenger, the police spokesperson said.
