A 24-year-old man from Drechterland was injured in a fight last night around 0.40 am on Torenstraat in the center of Enkhuizen. He has been taken to hospital.
A spokesman for the police informs NH that at 0.40 a report was received of a fight with dozens of people. It is difficult to say how big the fight really was. “When the police arrive, the situation is already very different,” he explains. “There was no more fighting. There were still a few people and it was still a bit restless.”
The police found an injured 24-year-old man from Drechterland. “He was badly mistreated and had to go to hospital for treatment,” the spokesman said. It is unknown what his condition is now.
It is not yet clear what happened and why there was fighting. “The police have not arrested anyone and have launched an investigation.”
