At least 220 people were killed in the nocturnal attacks by the Israeli army and the agency for domestic safety on the Gaza Strip. This mainly concerns children, women and the elderly, reports the Palestinian civil protection to the French press agency AFP. In Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, 103 dead were counted, another 70 dead in Gaza city. The 47 other fatalities fell throughout the Gaza Strip.
