Lee Fields is coming to Germany for two performances in 2023. As part of an extensive European tour, he will play in Berlin and Hamburg in February.
The soul musician has been on stage since the 1960s, and even at the age of 72 he tirelessly tours the world. He is nicknamed “Little JB” because of his resemblance to soul singer James Brown. Throughout his career he has collaborated with artists such as BB King, Betty Wright and Bobby Womack.
His current album “Sentimental Fool” was released on October 28, 2022. ROLLING STONE describes the record as “the finest soul craftsmanship” that could be “a nugget forgotten in the sixties”. Here’s the full review.
