FC Schalke 04 opens the 2025/26 season in the 2nd Bundesliga on Friday evening of August 1st against Hertha BSC. The broadcasting broadcaster “Sky” announced the starting before the official notification of the game plans by DFL on Friday afternoon (2:00 p.m.). The royal blue had already played the first game of the season in the lower house in the 2023/24 season (3: 5), and 2021/22 against the Hanseatic Hanseate (1: 3).
