“Defend plans”

The organized football fans in Germany want to remain silent for the first twelve minutes of a game this weekend. The action is intended as a protest against the planned security measures by politicians in German stadiums.
At the same time, the supporters are calling on the clubs to “defend these plans with all available resources and options,” as it is said in a joint statement from the fan scenes in Germany.
The topic of stadium security will be discussed from December 3rd to 5th at the autumn meeting of the Conference of Interior Ministers in Bremen. Among other things, personalized tickets for football games and a tightening of stadium ban guidelines are being discussed.

The organized fans in Germany are resisting this. Under the motto “Football is safe! No more populism – yes to fan culture!” A large fan demonstration took place in Leipzig just last weekend.
