The A59 from the Zonzeel junction towards Den Bosch is still closed this morning between Drunen-West and the Heusden exit after the accident that happened last night near Elshout. A truck transporting chicken overturned there. The road was then littered with frozen chicken legs. Salvage work is still ongoing. Traffic is directed past the accident site via the emergency lane.
Traffic on the road from Den Bosch to Zonzeel is also affected by the recovery work. A diversion has been set up there. Traffic towards Breda or Waalwijk is routed from the Empel junction via Tilburg on the A2, A65, A58 and A27.
