The A59 near Elshout was opened around a quarter past six this morning. The road was closed last night after a truck carrying chicken overturned following a collision. The road was then littered with frozen chicken legs. The recovery work took all night.
The road from the Zonzeel junction towards Den Bosch was closed all night between Drunen-West and the Heusden exit. Traffic was guided past the accident site via the emergency lane. Traffic was also affected by the recovery work on the road from Den Bosch to Zonzeel. A diversion had been set up there. Traffic towards Breda or Waalwijk was routed from the Empel junction via Tilburg on the A2, A65, A58 and A27.
