03.40 – Fire in clothing store
A fire raged in a clothing store on Professor van Ginnekenstraat in Oudenbosch last night. The fire service was called just after 4:30 a.m. Shortly after the first report, the fire was scaled up to a medium fire. Two fire engines and a cherry picker arrived at the scene.

The fire was quickly under control. The fire brigade ventilated the clothing store, surrounding buildings and a house above the store. The cause of the fire is not yet known. It is also not clear whether anyone was injured in the fire.

A 14-year-old was arrested yesterday because he is suspected of assault in Dongen. The suspect allegedly assaulted someone on Wilhelminaplein on December 20. The detective of the Langstraat police team has investigated the case. The 14-year-old has been heard and will soon have to answer to the juvenile court.

A 24-year-old man from Boekel has been arrested because of the discovery of more than 1100 cobras. The police discovered the large amount of heavy and illegal fireworks in his home.

21.48 – Cyclist with outstanding prison sentence arrested after violations
A man who had an outstanding prison sentence of thirty days was caught in a very silly way on Wednesday evening. In Oss, officers saw the 30-year-old cyclist riding on the Oostwal. Because he had no lights and was holding his phone, the police stopped him. It turned out that he still had an outstanding prison sentence and that he still had to pay 1700 euros in fines. He was immediately arrested.
