The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee seized a drone near Woensdrecht yesterday. A 53-year-old man was flying his drone in an area near the airbase. When he was stopped, the drone and a chinook helicopter were flying at the same altitude in that area. According to the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, this resulted in a dangerous situation.
A few days earlier, on February 2, a 33-year-old man also flew his drone near Woensdrecht Air Base. His drone and SD card have also been seized. The Marechaussee in Hoogerheide is investigating.
