The police arrested an 18-year-old man from Venray in Ossendrecht on Sunday night who threw drugs from his car. Officers saw the car driving on Putseweg just after midnight. They decided to check on the man, but he ignored the stop sign. The officers did see him throw something out the window.
When the man finally stopped, the officers took a saliva test. It turned out that the driver had used cocaine, among other things. He remains in custody and will be questioned on Monday.
