The police say they may have thwarted a robbery on the residents of a house on Rijksweg in Nieuw-Vossemeer last night. Earlier in the day, the police received a tip about a planned robbery of the residents, after which they launched an investigation. Remarkably, the occupant of the house on Rijksweg was arrested. That happened somewhere in Roosendaal. The man lives in the house on Rijksweg with his wife and two minor children.
In addition to this man, two residents of a farm on the Moorseweg in Nieuw-Vossemeer were also arrested. It is still unclear what the relationship is between the three and why the robbery was planned. The trio is being questioned today.
