Ten trends that will no longer be seen at the turn of the year. See the list that will not continue until 2024.

Now is the time to say goodbye to some of the dominant trends of previous years. All Over Press

1. Flared jeans

Narrow-legged and tight flared jeans will now be replaced by a much looser model or with a leg that widens significantly downwards.

Loose, Relaxed and Oversized jeans, which we have already written about before, are both a comfortable and fashionable model in 2024.

2. Minimalism

Even though casually minimalistic and classic clothes never actually go out of fashion, let’s play with fashion boldly in the coming year and the style will be more cheerful.

Let your personality show and don’t be afraid of extreme style choices.

3. Just earthy tones

The use of bright and flashy colors and patterns will delight in fashion in 2024.

Sticking to just earthy tones is of course classically stylish – but next year maybe a bit boring option.

4. Ultra fast fashion

Don’t fall for low-quality ultra-fast fashion clothing and accessories. Rather, bet and invest less often, but in better quality.

For example, the collections of many Finnish fashion brands are produced in Finland or nearby in Europe, where certain quality requirements are met.

5. Logomania from head to toe

Dressing head-to-toe in monogrammed clothes decorated with brand logos is no longer trendy.

Choose a slightly more restrained logo garment of your favorite brand or balance the monogram patterned garment with, for example, a monochromatic top or bottom, or alternatively with a completely different patterned garment.

6. No jewelry

It’s time to dig out the stashes of your own jewelry boxes for prams, playful and even dramatic jewelry. Feel free to wear several of your favorites at the same time.

Among other things, striking earrings, cocktail rings and necklaces immediately bring a new look to the outfit.

7. Mini denim shorts

Relaxed knee-length denim jorts, which we have written about before, will be seen even more on the feet of fashion conscious people next summer.

8. Not having a belt

Many types of belts have been making a quiet comeback in fashion throughout the last year, as we’ve reported. In the coming year, you can be sure that you will see different belts both on the waist and lower on the hips.

The most trendy models are the metallic chain belt and decorative, wider cowboy belts placed on the hips.

9. Really big sneakers

Simple and especially moderate-sized sneakers replace platform-soled sneakers that dominated for a few seasons.

10. Chest Guard

Bust-revealing tops are now allowed to give way.

Instead, in the coming year, the shoulders will be the main part of the top of tops and dresses: look for example at the fashionable tube and halterneck tops, which we already wrote about earlier.
