As last summer, captain Dominik Reimann (27) extended his contract early at the 1st FC Magdeburg. The stammer goalkeeper came from Holstein Kiel to the FCM four years ago, for which he has played 143 games since then, in which he stayed without conceding 37 times. During this time, Reimann increased its market value from 225,000 to one million euros.

“Dome quickly developed into a regular player and top performer at the FCM in recent years. He has matured as a personality on and next to the place and an absolute leader. We are looking forward to continued successful cooperation together,” said sports director Otmar Schork. Reimann added: “I am very happy to continue playing at 1. FC Magdeburg. The extension is also a sign of how comfortable I feel at the FCM and in the city. The club is something special for me.”
