FC Bayern Munich has apparently increased the pace significantly in its recruitment of goalkeeper talent Jonas Urbig, but also suffered the first rejection from 1. FC Köln. Bayern are therefore preparing a second offer for Urbig, who is still bound until 2026. It is said that the transfer fee could ultimately be up to 8 million euros. Only seven keepers have cost more in the history of the Bundesliga, two of whom moved to Munich (for statistics).
Urbig has lost his regular place at FC to veteran Marvin Schwäbe (29), but is still considered a potential future national goalkeeper.
