Inner band damaged in test

Mark Uth’s suffering never ends. The 32-year-old striker injured his knee during 1. FC Köln’s friendly against Rot-Weiß Essen on Saturday. While the Bundesliga club did not provide any information about the downtime, it seems likely that it will last several weeks. According to reports, it is an injury to the inner ligament in the knee, but a tear has been ruled out.
For Uth, the 2023/24 season has been interrupted again for the time being after only nine appearances. The left-footed player only celebrated his comeback in October after a muscle stiffness. In total, he only played 14 games in the last year and a half, and he missed 41 in the same period.
