The 1. FC Heidenheim has given central defender Nick Rothweiler with a professional contract. The 18-year-old is now bound to the FCH by 2027. Rothweiler has been trained at the Heidenheimers since 2022 and is active in the U19 youth league this season. From summer it should prove itself with the professionals.
“Nick is showing strong performances in the DFB youth league in the current season. He has also been in the training camp with our professionals twice and was able to convince with his appearances. From summer, Nick has the chance to take his next development steps with our professionals to assert himself there,” said CEO Holger Sanwald.
Rothweiler said: “It is something very special for me to have signed my first professional contract. I am very grateful for the trust that I will receive from those responsible in order to be able to prove myself from the professionals from summer.”
