Zorabots from Ostend has a million-dollar deal with Saudi Arabia

QSS developed a humanoid robot that runs on ZBOS, Zorabots’ software platform. The robot was a highlight at the LEAP technology conference in Ryad earlier this month. During that conference, Zorabots and QSS signed a cooperation agreement and talks are now underway about a joint venture.

The contract stipulates that the Saudis will take 100,000 licenses for five years. The contract is worth just under 100 million euros for Zorabots, says Fabrice Goffin of Zorabots. “With the joint venture, we want to attract additional talent worldwide.”

Unique in the world

“We’ve had seven years of research and development,” explains Goffin. This has resulted in a platform for connected devices that is compatible with 2,000 brands. “That is unique in the world,” says Goffin. (continue reading below the video)
