Every year the German music scene gathers in Bielefeld to look forward to a very specific award in the German music world – the 1 Live Krone. All award winners and highlights at a glance.
A hail of prizes in the engine shed – a special award for the first time to Doku
As has been the case since 2023, the award ceremony on December 4th took place in the locomotive shed in Bielefeld. Some stars of the German music scene came together to celebrate the winners of the award voted for by fans. They voted for their personal favorites more than two million times in eleven categories, as Schiwa Schlei, head of 1 LIVE, said. Nina Chuba received the most important award of the evening as best artist. Ikkimel and Zartmann won twice in 2025. The evening was moderated by journalist Aminata Belli.
For the first time in the history of 1 Live Krone, the special prize was awarded to a documentary. The award was determined by the radio station’s jury and presented by laudator Miriam Davoudvandi. “Babo – the arrest warrant story” received the award “for triggering relevant social debates,” as the broadcaster explained.
