Yvonne Coldeweijer and her juice colleagues have changed the Dutch showbiz landscape beyond recognition. “I think she will continue to be a factor in the new year as well. She keeps us sharp.”
2022 was the year of the shooting stars and the biggest cause of this is Yvonne Coldeweijer. Celebrities can get away with misconduct much less easily because of her and her juice colleagues. Some think it’s good that the traditional show media no longer determine what show news is in the Netherlands, but there are also many critics.
Topper or flopper?
In any case, Telegraaf star Wilson Boldewijn is convinced of Yvonne’s right to exist as a juice queen. “I want to make one more special mention, which is someone who continues to keep us and the minds busy,” he says in an review on the past year. “Whether she is a topper or a flop, everyone has to judge for themselves, but that is Yvonne Coldeweijer.”

Jordi: “Yes, she keeps us sharp. We just talked about Lil Kleine and Glennis Grace’s affairs and she brought it to light. I also believe once in the same week, so yes, in that respect: she keeps us sharp.”
Going wod with Yv?
Private boss Evert Santegoeds also seems increasingly charmed by Yvonne. Where he initially did not even want to pronounce her name last year, he now lovingly calls her ‘Coldeweijertje’. It helps that they have a common enemy: the angry Dutch celebrity Mrs Rachel Hazes.
Evert now even sees himself going to the ‘wod’ with Yvonne. “Well, I can see it happening again, yes. I don’t know if it right away boozy or a cup of coffee, but we’re so close to each other now. Who knows. If someone takes the initiative at the right time, it could happen just like that.”
Madame Tussauds
It is striking how many annual overviews Yvonne ended up in. In that of the NOS she is even among world-famous names such as Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.
Lawyer Sébas Diekstra, who assists victims of The Voice, believes that Yvonne fulfills a relevant position. He says in an annual review of RTL Boulevard: “What is clear is that there is more supervision of the behavior of celebrities. With Yvonne Coldeweijer as supervisor.”
And Yvonne also passed by in Claudia de Breij’s New Year’s Eve conference: “There was so much of this kind of news. At a certain point, when Yvonne Coldeweijer announced: ‘I have new juice’, managers would simply call Madame Tussauds themselves, saying: ‘I’ll pass on the names of the statues that can go to the basement.’”
