Yvon Jaspers is almost starting a new season of Boerzoekt Vrouw. The program is still a huge hit, but the presenter has lost a bit of popularity. This is mainly due to riots about alleged additional earnings. TV professor Tina Nijkamp therefore has some mixed feelings about the dating show.
Tina destroys Yvon
It seems that Yvon is mainly concerned with herself, Tina sneers Telegraph column. “She seems to be very much in the game for herself. Is she as authentic as the farmers?”
What does Tina think is really the low point? That Yvon herself plays the farmer’s wife in the program ‘Our Farm: and now ourselves’. “As a farmer’s daughter, I found that series laughable and embarrassing at the same time. She grows some vegetables in a meadow, has a few animals running around and is very busy about it. ‘I’m a farmer’, she shouts all the time.”
Cookbook?
The viewing figures for Yvonne’s farm show were not very good with around 600,000 viewers, according to Tina. “Yvon should know better after all these years. Farming is not a hobby in the pasture, but a life. Strangely enough, a second season is already in the works.”
Tina expects that Yvon will have all kinds of commercial activities associated with it. “Maybe Yvon will immediately start selling her own cookbook, with her own recipes from her ‘farm’. It wouldn’t surprise me.”
