Yves Bissouma has been under contract with Tottenham Hotspurs since 2022. But the defensive midfielder has gotten himself into trouble again and, according to the English newspaper “The Sun”, could even be thrown out.
The reason: There is said to be a video in which Bissouma can be seen inhaling laughing gas from a balloon at a party in London. Something like this had already happened in August of last year. At that time, the footballer shared the videos himself on the Snapchat platform. He was subsequently suspended from Spurs. In Great Britain, distributing nitrous oxide is a criminal offense. Consumption can lead to health problems.
At the time, Bissouma also apologized, saying: “I would like to apologize for these videos. This was a serious lack of judgment.” Now the new video, which was apparently sent to a woman who spoke to the newspaper, could have new consequences.
The player’s club can no longer be found on Instagram. Bissouma is currently injured and has yet to play a competitive game for Tottenham this season. His contract expires in summer 2026.
