VfB Stuttgart was the only team from the German trio to reach the quarter -finals of the Youth League. The Swabians won 3: 2 at Sporting Lisbon. FC Bayern, on the other hand, was defeated by Inter Milan 5: 6 after a penalty time after a penalty. For TSG Hoffenheim, too, the round of 16 is over.
