Pauline van Marcke is the voting cannon of SamenEén and now also the youngest mayor of Flanders.
“Crazy, very nice, yes, it feels fantastic to be able to be this for Anzegem and to receive so much trust from the people of Anzegem,” says the new mayor. “I know it’s a young age and it comes with challenges.”
Gino Devogelaere is now mayor and will join the new board as alderman.
“I was a public works councilor until Claude died. I am now returning to public works. I am now as far along as I was 12 years ago. I hardly dare say it, but next year I will be seventy. I need all those problems more. I want to make it a little quieter, calmer and simpler,” says Alderman for Public Works Gino Devogelaere.
