Young Ajax wins after a feast of opportunities against MVV

In the debut match of coach Dave Vos, Jong Ajax won 4-2 at home against MVV. Thanks to the win, the team from Amsterdam climbs from eighteenth to fifteenth place in the first division.

After eight minutes of football, the team from Amsterdam led 2-0 thanks to goals from Kian Fitz-Jim and Francisco Conceicao. After more than half an hour, Sven Blummel brought the Limburgers back into the game.

Shortly after the start of the second half, substitute and debutant Mika Godts scored the third Amsterdam goal of the evening. Less than fifteen minutes later, MVV came back into the game for the second time through a goal from Jarne Steuckers.
