Yolanthe Cabau gets a tough blow from De Telegraaf. The newspaper has a reviewer to her latest film Mr. & Mrs. Aslan sent, and he is anything but enthusiastic. “One and a half star!”
Anyone who has talked Yolanthe Cabau that she has enough talent to break through in Hollywood is really very false. With her entire business, including a child, that woman went to the United States with the delusion that she would make it there. Well, for the time being we will only see her playing in Dutch B films. Very painful.
Too lean score
Now the cinema visitor Yolanthe can see in the film Mr. & Mrs. Aslan. Is that recommended? No, says De Telegraaf. “Certainly in comedies, simplism and lack of logic do not have to be a major objection. But then there must be good jokes and laughing salvos.”
The reviewer has only chuckled twice, he says. “That is really too meager score for the one and a half hours of toil from all involved.”
Bad yolanthe
The Yolanthe film only gets one and a half star from De Telegraaf. “It also does not help that Yolanthe Cabau seems to have only one look in this film; only the intrusive music makes clear whether her character is scared, cold -blooded or horny.”
The reviewer continues: “Cabau undoubtedly deserves more credits than her haters usually give her. But at least she is not going to get a Golden Calf for this film.”
Johan Critical
Johan Derksen is also not impressed. He speaks of a ‘Derderangs actress from B-films’. “Isn’t it going to be a look at how that girl walks next to her shoes? He has never delivered a decent acting performance and then wants to over the red carpet at some flut film,” he says in Today Inside.
“She has been home to my home, it’s not a bad girl at all, but it’s a self -proclaimed movie star in Hollywood. How she finances it, I don’t understand anything about that, but she lives that life.”
Netflix dumping
To make matters worse, Yolanthe also seems to have been canceled by Netflix. Initially there was talk about a second season of her real -life soap, but now Netflix pretends that their nose is bleeding. “Now Netflix says:” Nothing is known about this at all, so unfortunately I can’t provide you with information, “said Telegraaf-Reporter Jordi Versteegden.
He continues in the podcast Strictly private: “And then I thought: Hey, but a new season has already been announced? Then they said,” We have nothing to report right now. If there is something, I will come back to you again. “”
‘Nothing to report’
Private star Jan Uriot understands if they no longer feel like Yolanthe. “She has nothing to say. We have already seen everything. I thought it was a bloody series. What two should be about? She lives a little outside of reality, she image a lot in that she is a lot, but she’s just not.”
He concludes: “The viewing figures will not have been very high either.”
