Yogurt ice cream shop in Ypres closed: manager arrested in drug file

The Ypres frozen yogurt shop Froyo Bear, in the Boterstraat in Ypres, is closed indefinitely. The owner has been arrested during a judicial investigation. This is an investigation into drug trafficking. Two people from Ypres were arrested last Thursday. It concerns a person of 40 and a person of 32 years. “The arrests were extended by one month last Tuesday by the Ypres council chamber,” the prosecutor’s office reported.

The city council of Ypres may be able to add an administrative closure of the case to this. “There will be a hearing on Monday,” says Emmily Talpe (Open Ypres), the mayor of Ypres. It could be a three-month shutdown.
