Yoeri Havik takes second medal at Nations Cup on couple race

At the Nations Cup, Yoeri Havik and Jan-Willem van Schip won gold on the coupling race. In Milton, Canada, the Dutch duo took gold in front of the British.

On the third day of the Nations Cup, the duo scored 74 points. This left Van Schip’s Havik eight points ahead of the British Ethan Hayter and Rhys Britton. The Germans Theo Reinhardt and Tim Torn Teutenberg completed the podium.

For Havik it is his second medal of the weekend. The track cyclist from Avenhorn won silver on Friday in the elimination race. The Belgian Jules Hesters took the victory.
