Long -term radio announcer on Yle Radio 1 Timo Teräsavuori has been dismissed as a result of over -negotiations. Teräsvuori confirms the information to Iltalehti.

Teräsvuori started working as a young student in the Finnish Broadcasting Company in 1988. Prior to that, he worked as an hourly worker for about ten years.

Steel Mountain does not want to comment more closely on its redundancy.

-I was established when I was 33. Now I’m 60, Teräsvuori drops on the phone.

Teräsvuori also served as a main announcer for a long time until the main announcer was abandoned over a year ago. As the main announcer, he worked as a radio reporter and also worked as a radio reporter.

Teräsvuori has worked as a line -up for Radio 1 for the last year.

Teräsvuori says that the notice of dismissal took place at the end of February and his dismissal came into force on 1 March. Teräsvuori’s employment contract is valid until August 30.

Teräsvuori sends his greetings to listeners who have to give up him and many other announcers who have lost his job due to change negotiations.

– I’m very sorry for them, Teräsvuori says to his listeners.
