Floorball club Happe’s background company is bankrupt General reported.
The association was supposed to dismantle itself, but since it has more debts than funds, the matter must be handled through bankruptcy proceedings.
Although the original Happee goes down, the club’s brand will continue in floorball under the new Happee Floorball Association.
The new club in Laukaa was founded on 4 June. The men’s representative team starts their journey from the Division of Inland Finland 2.
The bankruptcy application will be filed next week.
– We have been told at least eight years that this should be done, and now we have to decide this story. The new association will start from a clean table and the floorball continues, comments Vesa Pölkki, Chairman of the Board of Happee Association, to Yle.
Happee played for a long time in the men’s F league and won the Finnish Championship in 2014.
