Emergency and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) announced that there was an earthquake of 7.4 magnitude in Kahramanmaraş Pazarcık. It was revealed that 33-year-old football player of Yeni Malatyaspor, Barış Başdaş, was seriously injured in the earthquake that caused destruction in Malatya, Gazintep, Adıyaman, Hatay and Adana.
Başdaş’s advisor, Serdar Topçu, said in a statement to the German Bild Newspaper that the 33-year-old football player jumped from the balcony of his house on the 2nd floor during the earthquake and was seriously injured in his foot and taken to the hospital.
