Customers of Tesla’s Chinese competitor Xiomi now have more options for charging their electric cars.

Xiaomi has addressed the Electric carcharging stations of its competitors NIO, XPeng and Li Auto, thereby offering customers of its electric car business access to tens of thousands of charging stations in China.

Xiaomi shares ended Friday trading in Hong Kong 4.27 percent higher at HKD 34.15.

Xiaomi successful with electric cars

Xiaomi’s electric car business has recently developed strongly. Rapid sales growth was recorded in the third quarter, clearly exceeding analysts’ expectations. While 39,790 vehicles were delivered with the SU7 series in the third quarter of 2024, the total number of SU7 deliveries since its launch in March this year stood at 67,157 vehicles as of September 30. Meanwhile, total revenue for the EV business climbed to RMB 9.5 billion from RMB 6.2 billion in the previous quarter – a hefty 52.1 percent increase.
