Xavier and Suzan assist homeless victims Heavy home explosions: ‘Two of my children and I have also been in the IC’

Heavy explosions in homes cause so much damage and suffering to the victims that Xavier Ottens decided to help. With his wife Suzan van Rutten, Ottens sets up the Sidekick foundation to assist those involved – often homeless and reasonable – with practical help. Ottens and his family themselves became victims of a Lukrake bombing in Vlaardingen. “I have experienced this before and want to share my experiences.”
