Mona Keijzer wants to put an end to the priority that status holders receive when allocating a social rental home. Of course, her measure does not solve the housing shortage, because this law does not include extra homes, but it will certainly help to dampen the growing frustration of Dutch people who have been on the waiting list for a social rental home for years and are being passed by status holders.
