Wouter de Winther is completely shocked when Eva Jinek shows up a weather map in her talk show. “I would like to ask you to walk over there and explain the weather for us.”
It makes sense: yesterday Eva Jinek’s talk show also discussed the elections extensively. One of the interpreters at the table is Wouter de Winther, who at one point is completely shocked by the presenter. She plays a prank on him and actually fools him: his eyes immediately go into panic mode.
Weather map
At one point Eva starts talking about the weather. “Scientific research shows, Wouter – we were just talking about the turnout and how crucial it is for Wilders – that the weather can play a decisive role in this.”
She continues: “We have had a weather map made, so I would like to ask you to walk there and indicate the weather for us.”
Panic in eyes
Wouter suddenly sits at the table, startled. Eva immediately: “I’m joking, man! Jesus, what are you thinking!”
Wouter laughing: “I thought: is this Banana Split?”
Eva: “No, honey! But it is true that it really makes a difference.”
Wouter then talks about the weather: “Yes, and it looks a bit sad. (…) This is a somewhat less pleasant picture for the turnout figures, which Wilders is very much hoping for, high turnout figures.”
