It was heavily cloudy in Den Bosch, when the VVD held its congress in the Brabanthallen on November 4, 2018. The liberals tried to radiate that after years of government responsibility they really had not become slight. That is why the congress was announced as a ‘festival’, complete with the image of a circus tent. Inside, a boxing ring was set up for ‘debate’ and hot dogs, cotton candy and popcorn were ready.
