Wout van Aert explains why he is still riding the Cyclo-Cross World Championships: “I feel good and the winter has gone very well so far”

A big surprise: Wout van Aert (30) will ride the Cyclo-Cross World Championships in Liévin, France next Sunday. Maasmechelen yesterday was in principle his last cross, but in the evening the idea started to mature. “I feel good, and my winter training has gone very well so far,” reports Van Aert. And so he still wants to take up the challenge with top favorite Mathieu van der Poel.
