Wout Poels two more seasons with current team

Last season, the climber was an important helper for the classification leaders, such as Mikel Landa. Poels was worth gold this year during the Giro d’Italia for Bahrain-Victorious. Partly due to the efforts of Poels, leader Landa finished third in the general classification. Poels was allowed to go for his own chance in the Ruta del Sol in February. He rewarded the confidence of the team with the win in the final standings of the 68th edition.
