A motorist was injured tonight on the N857 near Papenvoort by a collision with a tractor. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Because of the accident, the car got off the road and came to a halt in the ditch. The vehicle was considerably damaged. The tractor also did not get out of the collision.
Due to the seriousness of the accident, the trauma helicopter came to provide assistance in addition to ambulance, police and fire brigade. How the collision could happen is not clear.
