Longer break for Daniela Maier

Meanwhile, ski crosser Daniela Maier has to take a break due to an injury. The Olympic bronze medalist from Urach suffered a syndesmosis tear in her right foot last weekend and is out for the time being.

Maier took her first World Cup victory in Val Thorens, France, at the beginning of December. Last March, Maier also had to go under the knife; her season was over early due to an operation on her left knee.
