World Cup Group B: Host Canada will face these teams

In 2026, three countries will host the World Cup tournament together for the first time. With 48 participating teams, it is the largest World Cup in history to date. These teams meet in Group B.

The World Cup will take place in the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The draw for the twelve groups in the group phase took place on December 5, 2025 in Washington, DC. Canada, Switzerland, Qatar and Bosnia-Herzegovina will face each other in Group B.

  • 9 p.m.: Canada – Bosnia-Herzegovina (Toronto, Canada)
  • 9 p.m.: Qatar – Switzerland (San Francisco, California)

Thursday, June 18, 2026:

  • 9 p.m.: Switzerland – Bosnia-Herzegovina (Los Angeles, California)
  • 12 a.m.: Canada – Qatar (Vancouver, Canada)
  • 9 p.m.: Switzerland – Canada (Vancouver, Canada)
  • 9 p.m.: Bosnia-Herzegovina – Qatar (Seattle, Washington)

Live tickers are available again for the World Cup finals on t-online. It is currently unclear who will broadcast the games on TV. One thing is certain: ARD and ZDF will show 60 of the 104 games in the tournament live. Sports enthusiasts can watch all World Cup games via Telekom’s streaming service Magenta TV.
