Beau Greaves made her debut at the Ally Pally at the 2023 World Darts Championship. However, for the then 18-year-old, who recently caused a stir with her semi-final victory over Luke Littler, the tournament had already ended in round 1. Now the Englishwoman is about to return to the World Cup.
“After securing her tour card for 2026/2027 and enduring much speculation, we are pleased to be able to officially announce that Beau will take part in the 2025/26 PDC World Championship,” “Opus Sports Management” confirmed the shooting star’s participation in the World Cup in a statement.
“After an incredible year on the various PDC stages and looking ahead to what will be a big year next, it was the decision that made the most sense for Beau and one that all of us at Opus fully support,” it continued: “We can’t wait to see her on the famous Ally Pally stage again.”
Darts: Beau Greaves in the final at the Junior World Championships
The 21-year-old’s season was recently crowned by reaching the final of the Junior World Championships. There she eliminated the reigning darts world champion Luke Littler in the semi-finals. The 18-year-old was actually considered the big favorite in the tournament for 16 to 23 year olds.
Against Greaves, Littler also averaged an outstanding 107.4 points per shot and narrowly missed a nine-darter. Nevertheless, the challenger who won in the decider was stronger. Gian van Veen is now waiting in the final. The final will take place as part of the Players Championship Finals on November 23rd in Minehead.
Beau Greaves had already been allowed to appear at Ally Pally in London in 2023, but failed at the start 3-0 to William O’Connor. So far, only Shannon Ferrock has managed to win a World Cup game. The draw for the games will take place on November 24th at 5:30 p.m.
Greaves voluntarily skipped taking part in the 2025 World Cup.
