Sha’Carri Richardson is the new fastest woman alive. The American won gold over the 100 m in 10.65 seconds at the World Athletics Championships – the title never went away with a faster time. Like a year ago in Eugene, Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson (10.72) became vice world champion, while her compatriot and defending champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (10.75) won bronze.
