So far, Jarl Magnus Riiber has won two gold medals in two World Cup competitions. This does not stop him from massively scolding the toughest rival.

After the individual competition of the Nordic Ski World Cup, Jarl Magnus Riiber expressed significantly over the German team. The Norwegian combiner showed little understanding of the protest of the German Ski Association (DSV) against the result of the race.

“I am really bad and I get a lot of adrenaline when I think about how to behave so badly,” said Riiber of the newspaper “Dagbladet”. He added: “This is disgusting.”

The DSV had taken a protest because Riiber’s compatriot Jens Lurås is said to have left the route with a ski. However, the jury of the World Association FIS rejected the objection. Riiber bothered that the Germans tried to change the result. If the protest had been successful, Olympic champion Vinzenz Geiger Silver and Julian Schmid had received bronze.

“Something like that is simply unsportsmanlike,” criticized Riiber. Oftenbro also showed little understanding of the procedure of the Germans.

National coach Eric Frenzel admitted shortly after the end of the race that he could understand the decision after viewing the video images. This week, Norway and Germany will meet again in singles and in the team.
