VALLEFOGLIA-MILANO 3-1 (25-21, 17-25, 25-23, 25-15)

Splendid success for Vallefoglia, which beats Milan 3-1 (for the second time in 12 matches) achieving the fifth consecutive success in the championship. Game of great personality for the Tigers, with Omoruyi (Mvp) confirming his excellent season by playing a very high level game. Numia, on the other hand, forgets the excellent match three days ago with Chieri, in a match in which Egonu alone tries to keep her teammates afloat despite being kept at bay by the opponent’s wall-defense. The attack of the Milanese team doesn’t find fluidity and the wall is fluctuating, so the Megabox flies into a crescendo final.

Milan: Egonu 26 points, Muri team 7 (Danesi 4), Ace team 1.

Vallefoglia: Omoruyi and Bici 23 points, Muri team 8, Ace team 4.

BERGAMO-BUSTO 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-19)

Bergamo regains success after 3 knockouts, crushing Busto 3-0 and bringing them closer to -1 in the standings. Therefore, Cervellin’s adventure (after Parisi’s farewell) on the Orobic bench began well, because the team started better in the first set, was caught by the guests, but closed the half well, dominating the second. With butterflies on the ropes, Barbolini finds no resources on the bench for a team that struggles in reception and attack against the solid opponent wall, and gives up at distance in front of yet another excellent Kipp and MVP Eze.

Bergamo: Kipp 25 points, Muri team 8, Ace team 4. Busto: Obossa 14 points, Muri team 6, Ace team 1.

SCANDICCI-CUNEO 3-0 (25-15, 27-25, 25-13)

Success without hesitation for Scandicci, who regulates Cuneo by 3rd. For the Tuscans it is the fifth consecutive victory in the championship, and the series rises to 12 also counting the Champions League and World Cup. The first and third sets are dominated by Gaspari’s girls (with Bechis on the field for Ognjenovic), while in the second Cuneo remains in contact, playing out a point-to-point final thanks to Diop and his effective blocking, but errors condemn the cats. Antropova then does the rest, dominating the match with 20 points and 6 blocks.

Scandicci: Antropova 20 points, Muri team 10 (Antropova 6), Ace team 6.

Cuneo: Diop 12 points, Muri team 4, Ace team 3.

Conegliano – San Giovanni in Marignano 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-19)

Conegliano sinks the freshman San Giovanni in M.no at the Palaverde with a clear and peremptory 3-0 in less than 1 and a half hours. There is too much technical difference between the two sextets, with Imoco also resting Haak, Fahr and Sillah. Zhu Ting (12 points and MVP), Gabi (13), Lubian (10) and Adigwe (17) beat the Romagna players who were unable to make any impact on their game. Even the new purchase Zhuang (10 points) is not as effective as usual and, apart from her, only Kochurina manages to reach double figures (10). Conegliano’s positive streak continues, first place and 46 points in the standings, while San Giovanni is in last place with 10 points.

Conegliano: Adigwe 17 points, team blocks 7, team aces 3

San Giovanni in M.no: Zhuang and Kochurina 10 points, team blocks 5, team aces 4.

MONVISO-PERUGIA 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 3-0)

Fundamental victory for Monviso, who after 6 consecutive defeats returned to smiling, winning the survival clash with Perugia 3-0, making a leap forward in the standings. It was a long drawn out match, but in the decisive moments the Piedmontese were more concrete. The block was decisive: good work in the fundamentals for the locals, practically nothing for the guests for whom the usual excellent Gardini was not enough. MVP is D’Odorico, author of a solid race in all phases which allows Wash4Green to find points and confidence

Monviso: Davyskiba 18 points, Muri team 9 (D’Odorico 4), Ace team 3.

Perugia: Gardini 18 points, Muri team 3, Ace team 0.

Chieri – Novara 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-12, 25-21)

The Piedmontese derby against Novara goes to Chieri, clearly defeated 3-1 at the Palafenera. Kunzler (17 points, 64% in attack and MVP), Nervini (19), Nemeth (21) and Cekulaev (12) push a lot in the offensive phase and all score double figures. The blocking phase (9) and the receiving phase (53%) were good. A step backwards for Novara, after the tie-break victory on Saturday, which is unable to fully express its potential. The usual Tolok (17 points) and Alsmeier (16) did well in attack. De Nardi very good in reception (88%). In the standings, Chieri reaches 35 points, 2 behind Novara.

Chieri: Nemeth 21 points, team blocks 9, team aces 3 Novara: Tolok 17 points, team blocks 4, team aces 1

Macerata – Florence (23-25, 25-12, 21-25, 25-20)

It is Florence that passes over Macerata’s Taraflex, after a match that lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes and ended in a tie-break. A very balanced match, which saw Bisonte in the lead several times with Macerata ready to recover the set count. The super attack performance of Decortes (30 points) and Kokkonen (19) was not enough for CBF Balducci. Acciarri (19 points and MVP) keeps the ranks of the guests high, together with Knollema and Tanase. 2 very important points in the standings for Bisonte, who move out of the relegation zone and are in tenth place with 15 points, while Macerata, with the point gained, goes to 17 points.

Macerata: Decortes 30 points, team blocks 10, team aces 3

Florence: Acciarri 19 points, team blocks 11, team aces 2
