October 29, 2025 (changed October 30, 2025 | 00:10) – MILAN

The sixth first leg of the women’s volleyball Serie A-1 is over with Conegliano reaffirming its leadership by breaking Chieri’s resistance. Here is the summary of the day

Conegliano-Chieri 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 27-25)

The Prosecco Doc passes, not without difficulty, at the Palaverde in Treviso against a very fierce and determined Chieri. The Panthers struggled to get going and the Piedmontese took advantage of this by winning the first set above all thanks to the offensive push of Nervini and Nemeth. The home sextet doesn’t stand by and watches and gets into gear, managing to impose their game thanks, above all, to the usual Haak (Mvp) who breaks the visiting defense 26 times (with 4 blocks and 2 aces). In the fourth set, a very close duel between the two sextets (Conegliano also brings in Gabi) which ends with the advantage thanks to a whip from Daalderop. First place for Imoco with 17 points, together with Scandicci who, however, has one more match played. Chieri, awaiting the Numia match, remains fourth at 11 points together with Cuneo.

Conegliano: Haak 26 points, team blocks 6 (4 Haak), team aces 7

Chieri: Nervini 19 points, team blocks 6, team aces 6.

Vallefoglia-Bergamo 3-1 (21-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-23)

Megabox defeats Bergamo by winning 3-2 within the friendly walls of Pesaro. After a balanced first set, won by the Orobic team, the Marches girls take the measure and easily overcome Parisi’s girls in the second and third sets. Bergamo tries to regain control of the match by trying to go to the tie-break, pushing into the fourth set, but the offensive action of Bici (19 points) and Omoruyi (22) closes off any possibility, despite the 20 points scored by Cese Montalvo. Three precious points for the Tigers who move to 9 points, while Bergamo remains second to last with 5.

Vallefoglia: Omoruyi 22 points, team blocks 10 (4 Butigan), team aces 5 (4 Candi)

Bergamo: Cese Montalvo 20 points, team blocks 7, team aces 2.

Cuneo-Florence 3-2 (25-15, 25-23, 18-25, 21-25, 15-13)

At the Palazzo dello Sport in Cuneo it was the Cats who took the tie-break and the match, after having suffered the recovery of the Bisonte who managed to recover from 2-0 and take the lead to 2-2. A swing that gives many emotions to the spectators. The cats made more errors (30) than the Florentines (17), especially in the third and fourth sets, allowing the latter to get back into the game. Keen did well (20 points with 56% in attack) with Pucelj (14) and Diop (14), but what gave greater propulsion to the game was the entry of Marring during the match who earned the title of MVP. Acciarri (16 points) and Knollema (26 points and 75% receiving on 37 balls) did well for the Lilies.

Wedge: Keen 20 points, team blocks 15 (4 Diop), team aces 2

Florence: Knollema 26 points, team blocks 13 (4 Acciarri), team aces 5.

SCANDICCI-BUSTO 3-1 (23-25, 25-11, 25-16, 25-20)

Busto’s resistance in Florence lasts for a set, before Savino del Bene Scandicci takes the stage and takes over the stage. MVP Weitzel with a total match (even 5 aces), but Uyba started well, causing difficulty for the opponent’s reception (especially with Parra). Then the Tuscans improve (Franklin and Castillo also do well), and for the Lombards the deck, especially in attack, becomes terribly short.

Scandicci: Antropova 21 points, Muri team 12 (Franklin 4), Ace team 9 (Weitzel 5, Antropova 3).

Bust: Obosssa 14 points, Muri team 5, Ace team 6.

MONVISO-NOVARA 1-3 (25-23, 17-25, 16-25, 21-25)

Novara resumes its march after the defeat against Conegliano, and returns to success by conquering the Monviso field by 1-3. However, it takes Bernardi’s team a set to get back into rhythm: thanks, in the first set, to the home attack (Davyskiba inspired), and a noteworthy visitor defense block. Then Igor pushes back to serve, and the match changes, with MVP Herbots and her teammates breaking away at a distance in the following fractions, winning the three points.

Monviso: Malual 18 points, Muri team 5, Ace team 7 (Davyskiba 4).

Novara: Alsmeier 17 points, Muri team 8, Ace team 4.
