The third European Championship group game by the German footballers in Switzerland has once again ensured a strong TV quota.
On Saturday evening, 7.66 million people followed the 1: 4 (1: 3) against Sweden, the highest DFB bankruptcy in EM history. This corresponded to a market share of 37.9 percent.
The opening victory against Poland (2-0) even saw 8.22 million fans (market share 41.2 percent), and 7.02 million people (38.7 percent) switched on in the success against Denmark (2: 1). All three matches were also shown on the German market on the streaming platform in DAZN.
The team of national coach Christian Wück is challenged in the quarter -finals on Saturday (9:00 p.m./ZDF and DAZN) in Basel against the winner of Group D. In the evening it is decided whether it is against defending champion England, France or the Netherlands.
