Women’s Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg consolidated on the penultimate Bundesliga matchday with a 4-0 (1-0) duty victory at the relegated turbine Potsdam table.
This enables the Lower Saxony to create direct Champions League qualification on the last match day. With 48 points, the VfL women now have four points ahead of pursuer Eintracht Frankfurt, who plays against TSG Hoffenheim on Sunday (3 p.m.). The Bundesliga third has to go to the Champions League qualification.
Endemann, Kielland, Lattwein and Wilms meet
National player Vivien Endemann (36.), Justine Kielland (47th), Lena Lattwein (68th) and Lynn Wilms (90.+3) met for the “wolves”, in which some regulars such as Alexandra Popp were initially spared or were missing.
